Sustainability

Responsible convenience, improving as we grow

Our approach separates what we do today from what we intend to prioritise as Concitus develops. Our focus is on practical improvements we can strengthen as Concitus grows.

Our Approach

Our priorities

  • Reducing food waste

Smart inventory and sales information can help us understand what sells at each location and refine stock levels accordingly, with the aim of reducing products reaching expiry. We see this as continuous improvement, site by site.

  • Energy-aware equipment choices

When Concitus selects new equipment, energy consumption will form part of the purchasing decision, alongside reliability, functionality and customer experience.

  • Machine longevity

As part of responsible equipment management, we intend to maintain equipment, repair where appropriate, upgrade where practical and avoid unnecessary replacement, extending its useful life.

  • Digital receipts

Digital receipts can be used instead of printed receipts where the payment system supports them.

  • Planned servicing

Where sales and stock information is available, it can help us plan replenishment visits more effectively.

  • Considered ranging

As ranges are refined, we intend to consider packaging alongside customer demand when choosing products.
